Giving Back

Murphy Partners is passionate about making lives better for seniors and the elderly. One way we do that is by supporting groups like the Alzheimer Society, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and the Sunnybrook Hospital: K Wing Veteran’s Centre. We offer charity flights in a 1940 de Havilland Tiger Moth in return for a donation to one of these incredible organizations.

Principal Architect, Bob Murphy, is also a licensed pilot. He owns a fully restored open cockpit bi-plane. For the last 16 years, Bob has been donating plane rides as a silent auction item at fundraisers for various charities - with an emphasis on Seniors, Veterans, and those with special needs.

Bob especially enjoys flying veterans (or their family members) who flew Tiger Moths during World War II – it is an incredibly moving experience when they get back into the cockpit after decades.
