Revera Sharon Corners in East Gwillimbury is a phased continuum-of-care seniors-community developed in partnership with Wycliffe Homes and Thornridge Homes.
The development consists of a 7-storey, 206 suite retirement home and a 7-storey, 100 seniors apartments sharing a single level of underground parking.
The Retirement Residence features independent living, assisted living, and memory care neighbourhoods with memory care located on the top level. This unconventional placement allows for raised ceilings, clerestory windows and skylights, and walkouts to spacious and secure terraces at each end of the hallway.
Apartments all include full cooking facilities for Independent Supportive Living residents.
In addition to preparing a preliminary conceptual design based on Revera’s Standard Programme of Architectural Requirements, Murphy Partners also provided significant graphic support to the municipal planning submissions for Draft Plan of Subdivision and Official Plan Amendment. This included numerous photorealistic renderings and a video animation of the immediate neighbourhood and proposed townhomes.
